Today is July 4. We are doing what every good patriotic family across America is doing: comforting a frightened dog each time the neighbors light a firecracker. Some of you know what I mean, some of you just said "Huh?", and two of you on the other side of the world will be doing the comforting of said dog in two more July Fourths, right?

As for the day-to-day of Sabbatical life, my days are still named Clean-Up, and Rev., back at home (instead of at the local library) is in the room he took over, reading. He is also looking ahead to future week ends away as we get ready to leave tomorrow for our first Sabbatical Weekend of Travel. I like the sound of that with capital letters.

I reluctantly set the clean-up aside for a few days, because I do enjoy working on the tree. I will pick up where I left off on Tuesday, and maybe later in the week we will need some help with some of the bigger pieces. Maybe not until the following week, we will see. I have a system of sorting the wood that is resulting in piles intended for several different destinations, one of which is my brother's lathe in Iowa! What an unexpected way to have spent this past week.

Now for some goals:
1.  Figure out how to post this to get to it other than by way of Facebook.
2.  Figure out how to post pictures.
3.  Figure out how to find my own blog back without getting lost. Today I tried a Google search to see if it was easy to find that way, but I just ended up at another blogging Sabbatical minister's family's site. Wow. Even if we were traveling to all these places I would not write such long blogs. Check it out and say Wow.  http://lakesidechurchrmt.org/#/news-and-information/sabbatical-blog   I mean seriously, if I did everything they do in a day I would not have time to blog. I don't know these people, I only stumbled upon this after searching the words "seven" and "sabbatical." Tomorrow I will explain my choice for my title in the blog that I had planned to write the second day.
